Singapore introduced Home Office Scheme on 10th June 2003 to allow businesses such as sole proprietors, partnerships and companies to use their residential address as the registered business address. If we are living in a Housing and Development Board (HDB) flat, we will need to obtain prior approval from the HDB and if we are living in a private property, we will need to seek approval from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA).
